American Jetting Uses High-Pressure Water Spraying Equipment from Harben

American Jetting in Arizona has been the trusted company for hydrojetting, which is the best way to clean commercial sewer lines, in Phoenix and Maricopa County for over 25 years.

When faced with even the toughest clogged sewer pipes, hydro-jetting with high-pressure water does the job. The American Jetting technicians arrive on-site with powerful jetting equipment from Harben. Harben is known for making reliable gear for commercial hydrojetting. The Harben equipment is able to clean out a clogged grease trap and the smallest sewer line connector pipes of only one and one-half inches in diameter. It works just as well for jetting main sewer lines that are massive pipes up to two feet in diameter.

The Harben equipment delivers water pressure at a steady 4,000 p.s.i. that is strong enough to blast anything through the backed up drainpipe and out of the way, to clear stopped up underground pipes. The commercial hydrojetting does not damage pipes that are made of ABS, clay, iron, or PVC materials.

We have two large Harben jetters that we find are very reliable and get the job done. Here is what Harben says about their equipment. They are good ole boys from Georgia and have been making quality jetting equipment since 1984, which makes them an industry leader. The Harben system uses a radial piston pump that is super reliable and low maintenance. Watch the video about how it works on the Harben website. The pump works with any water, whether clean, brackish, or seawater. It is not damaged when running dry.

To be able to clear any blockage by flushing out the drain line, we use a high-pressure hose that extends up to 500 feet. It goes down any pipe for the distance required. The jetting works because there is a nozzle connected to the front of the high-pressure hose, which has jets that force water forward and other jets that drive water behind the nozzle. This backpressure behind the nozzle is what pushes both the nozzle tip and the hose down the pipe. Think of this like surfing. The nozzle surfs riding the smaller wave pushing forward with the larger wave pushing strongly from behind. There is only one direction for the material creating the clogged sewer line to go. The high-pressure jetting spray breaks up the clog and pushes the debris forward and down the sewer line. No matter what is causing the backed up drain pipe, high pressure water cleaning blasts through any blockage that is clogging the pipe, pushing all the debris ahead and out of the pipe.
